Why?
Sometimes people need help with videos, photos, audio recording, music, writing, publishing, etc. I am a jack of some trades and an extroverted people-person. My kids are in school during the day during the school year, so I can take a break from being a stay-at-home-dad for about 20-hours a week to maybe make a few bucks and pay a few bills.

Experience
On October 6th, 2018, my wedding video business, Orphonic LLC, shot its very last wedding video. A week later, I did my last wedding photography gig. It was a few years coming. I had been a stay-at-home dad for my then 3-year-old daughter, and I just couldn't juggle any more wedding seasons while raising a toddler. Some folks can, and hats off to them, but I couldn't. In 2019, my wife and I had another daughter, and the adventure of raising a newborn started all over.
What I was able to do from home was write three books (and publish them), which taught me a lot about the industry.
I also started learning more about audio engineering from hosting a podcast, assisting other podcasters with technical needs, and then most recently in 2020 I started recording musicians, which has been my newest obsession. That interest as been a long, slow development ever since I recorded my first album of original songs in 1998.
I'll take everything I learned from running a photo/video business for 8 years, and combine that with my knowledge of writing, recording, and publishing, and offer up my services to help anyone in any way I can.
...But no more weddings. 😅
